Teacher: Hey, student. You need to speed up.
Student 1: I can't.
Teacher: Student next to you is going to beat you.
Student 1: I don't care who wins, it's not a race.
time passes
Student 1: Hey! Now I am beating her!
Teacher: I thought you didn't care who wins.
Student 1: smiles Now I do.
**Even the best teacher has tried any means necessary to inspire action in students. I don't generally condone competition between the kids... unless it works in my favor.
