So John and I are watching tv, actually he was watching and I was doing homework and I hear what sounds like rushing water outside the house.
Me: What is that sound?
John: What sound.
Me: That sound that sounds like water rushing. (turning down the volume on the tv)
John: Hey! What is that sound that sounds like rushing water?!?
We both jump up and run toward the door leading to the garage and see what appears to be a major winter storm dripping only off of our roof. Since we are standing inside the garage peering out to the driveway, all we can see is torrential rain pouring off of the roof, but no rain or any moisture actually landing on John's truck that is parked 3 feet away from the garage or onto the driveway.
Me: Did something explode on the roof? Wait, what could explode on the roof that is full of water?!?
When we actually came out of the garage, what do we see but 3 soaking wet dogs with guilty faces standing by a hose, and a spray nozzle that has been stepped on and is now shooting a spray of water 12 feet into the air across the hood of the truck onto the wall above the garage door.
It was the oddest confluence of events that never would have been able to be captured in a photo. John had been watering the yard earlier and left the hose on. Somehow the dogs managed to step on the spray nozzle with just the right amount of pressure to make it stay on in a perfect stream. The stream hit the garage in just the right place that made a very loud sound inside the house, and that also make it appear that a freak storm cloud was floating only over our garage.
Just another day in the Bryson Lovenest!
