Our little love nest also has two other members, that I was remiss in not mentioning right away.
Gemma and Clifford are our beloved vehicles. Gemma is my Mini Cooper, and Clifford is John's Truck.
I fell in love with Mini's when I lived in London in college, and vowed that if I ever had one, I would give it a little British girl's name. Her last name is Makey-Kensington, which are the names of my favorite British professor and the borough I lived in, respectively.
John was watching "Clifford the Big Red Dog" one afternoon and realized that his truck should be named Clifford because it is a big red Dodge. I think I knew I loved him when he told me this story soon after we started dating. :)
