Adventures

Owen is definitely at a fun, exciting and adventurous age. We can take him anywhere, and have enjoyed being able to do more with him. He is pretty much always happy to be out and with people (I am not bragging, because everyone really says this!) and it is so fun to realize that he is becoming aware of where we are and what we are doing.

His first time sitting in a high chair, eating out with us. It seemed appropriate that it was avocado at Miguel's, since these were the 2 things I ate the most when he was still in my belly!

Daddy teaching Owen how to drive. He always grabs right on to the steering wheel like he is ready to go.

Owen is pretty much crawling, as in he can get where he wants to go, even if it's not in a straight line. His new thing is to turn tubs on their sides and take everything out. :/

Me, Owen and Delaney spontaneously and randomly went to have Thai food with the Short family. The food was AMAZING! It was so fun to be able to eat with people who know what to order, and we did it all family style to share. I loved watching the Short kids confidently jump in and eat everything, which is so what I want Owen to be able to do.

The crab fried rice was my favorite!

Delaney was a trooper who tried a little bit of everything. She was very relieved when we went to go pick up Baker's on the way home for her and John. :)

The old addage "Don't drink the water at Deer Canyon" continues to be true. There are lots more babies continuing to be born at our DC family. It was so funny to be bringing my baby to a baby shower, and to be the one to offer advice and to look at the gifts knowing what she will and won't be using. Owen enjoyed getting passed around to all of the ladies, and no one held him more than our former principal Mrs. Melton.
Can't wait for all of the adventures still to come!
